Cannabis is legal in the U.S. Virgin Islands for both medical and recreational use. Medical cannabis was legalized in 2019 for conditions like epilepsy, chronic pain, and PTSD, allowing patients to possess up to four ounces. Recreational use was legalized in 2023, permitting adults over 21 to possess up to two ounces and cultivate up to six plants, with no more than three mature plants at a time. 

Cannabis is legal in the U.S. Virgin Islands for medical use, but the implementation of recreational use is still pending.
